Moonraker DPC-38V Dipole Centre for 3/8 HF Mobile Whips

The Moonraker DPC-38V is a V-shaped dipole centre, designed to use two monoband HF mobile whips with 3/8-24 thread, creating a compact and practical dipole antenna.

This accessory allows two mobile whip antennas to be mounted, one on each side, forming a single-band mini dipole. The V or inverted V configuration can be especially useful for portable, temporary, field or space-limited installations where a conventional wire dipole cannot easily be installed.

The centre uses an SO-239 coaxial socket, allowing direct connection of coaxial cable with a PL-259 plug. The listed maximum power is 500W, making it suitable for several HF amateur radio applications, provided that the mobile whips used are also compatible with the required power, band and operating conditions.

Thanks to its simple, robust and lightweight design, the DPC-38V is a practical solution for quickly building a compact HF antenna using monoband mobile whips. It is suitable for portable operation, field use, antenna experiments, temporary stations and small fixed installations.
