YAESU SSM-BT20 Bluetooth Headset for Yaesu and Standard Horizon Radios

The Yaesu SSM-BT20 is a Bluetooth headset designed for use with Yaesu transceivers and Standard Horizon equipment compatible with Bluetooth.

This accessory allows the radio to be operated without a cable connection to the microphone or earphone, providing greater freedom of movement during mobile, portable, marine, aviation or station operation, depending on the equipment used.

The SSM-BT20 uses Bluetooth 5.0 technology and includes a multi-function PTT button, allowing compatible radios to switch between transmit and receive when VOX is not active. It also includes volume buttons, LED indicator, built-in microphone and USB-C charging port.

Compared with the previous SSM-BT10, the SSM-BT20 supports 16k audio sampling, providing clearer voice quality on compatible equipment. Its compact design with ear hook and ear adapters allows practical use during extended communications.

It is suitable for amateur radio operators, mobile users, Yaesu radios with built-in Bluetooth or models accepting an optional Bluetooth unit, as well as compatible Standard Horizon applications.
