The Approx appPOS80AM-USB is a compact, fast and easy-to-use thermal printer designed for point-of-sale systems in shops, restaurants, cafés, hotels and other commercial environments.

It uses direct thermal printing technology, eliminating the need for ink cartridges, toner or ribbons. A compatible thermal-paper roll is all that is required to print receipts, tickets, barcodes, logos and other graphics.

Its printing speed of up to 200 mm per second helps transactions run smoothly. The 203 dpi resolution produces clear and readable text, graphics and barcodes.

The printer uses standard 80 mm thermal paper and features an automatic partial cutter. Receipts can also be cut manually when required. Its straightforward paper-loading system allows rolls to be replaced quickly.

Connection to a computer or POS terminal is provided through USB. The RJ11 port is designed to control a compatible cash drawer, allowing it to open automatically through the invoicing or point-of-sale software.

Support for the ESC/POS command set simplifies integration with many retail, hospitality and business-management applications.

Important note

This version only provides a USB data connection and an RJ11 port for a cash drawer. The RJ11 socket is not an Ethernet, telephone or network connection.

The printer requires 80 mm thermal paper. It does not use standard paper, ink cartridges or toner.

Before purchasing, confirm that the invoicing or POS software supports ESC/POS printers and the installed operating system. The cash drawer is not included.
