Triton is a solid loudspeaker, made of 3 mm aluminium. We have chosen a membrane with the same frequency response as the KSP3s and filled the inside with acoustic fibre. Triton is a robust and versatile speaker, which can be used at home, mobile or portable. It is a small speaker with a great sound.Triton is designed for use in noisy environments such as a vehicle or outdoors. For this reason its frequency response favours frequencies around 2 KHz, which are those that aid speech intelligibility. On the other hand, the frequency response between 200 and 1200 Hz is sufficiently balanced to provide a very full sound.

In Phonema we followed the most stringent acoustic criteria to provide a speaker capable of delivering maximum sound quality. First, we have carefully selected the drivers so that the signals can be heard clearly and comfortably, both weak signals like morse to powerful AM broadcasts. Secondly, we have filled the inside of the speaker with absorbent material to remove the annoying resonances that might occur in traditional communications speaker. And finally we have devoted much attention to the design, to give warmth, elegance and personality to your shack. A Phonema speaker is a handmade piece created with enthusiasm and dedication.

INSTALLATION
With Triton you are guaranteed quality audio. You will hear the sound from your receiver in full transparency, without any added acoustic noise.
Connect the speaker to your transceiver using the 3.5’ mono mini jack cable, or using any other cable with the same characteristics.
For your installation you have three options:
•You can use the ‘Phonema’ bracket to base Triton on any surface such as a shelf or the housing of your transceiver.
•Alternatively, you can use the 3M doublesided sticker to fix it wherever you prefer.
•You can also fix it using two M5 screws.
Before fixing Triton in the desired position, you may wish to vary the orientation. To do this, simply loosen the screw on the base slightly. Make sure that the desired tilt is correct before fixing the loudspeaker in its final position.
The only recommendation we can make is that the speaker should face your ears as centrally as possible. This way you can enjoy the full amplitude of the sound.
