The DIY UPS Battery Box for 6x 18650 Cells 5V/9V/12V is a practical solution for building a compact backup power supply for small DC-powered devices.
It accepts up to 6 lithium 18650 batteries and provides multiple voltage outputs, including 5V USB, 9V DC and 12V DC, making it suitable for routers, modems/ONTs, surveillance cameras, small LED systems, network devices and other equipment requiring compatible DC power.
The solder-free design makes battery installation and replacement easier. The UPS function provides automatic charge and discharge management, keeping connected equipment powered when the main supply fails, provided that the input conditions and output power are suitable for the connected load.
This product is supplied as a UPS battery box / DIY kit, without batteries included. The final runtime depends on the capacity, quality, condition and matching of the 18650 cells used.
This product does not include batteries. Use good-quality 18650 Li-ion flat-top cells, preferably with the same brand, model, capacity, batch and charge level. The supplier indicates that cells with a raised positive terminal longer than 2 mm may not be compatible.
Always check polarity before installing the batteries. The spring is the negative terminal and the copper contact is the positive terminal. Installing batteries in reverse may damage or burn the product. Also confirm that the output voltage and current are compatible with the connected device. This product is not a 230V AC UPS; it is a DC backup power solution for compatible equipment.
