This 2x4mm PTFE / teflon tube is intended for use in 3D printers with 1.75mm filament, especially Bowden systems, compatible hotends and E3D V5 / V6 type assemblies.

With an approximate 2mm inner diameter and 4mm outer diameter, it guides the filament from the extruder to the hotend, reducing friction and helping maintain smoother filament feeding during printing.

PTFE is widely used in 3D printers due to its low friction, good thermal resistance and suitability for filament movement. It is a common replacement part for Bowden-style printers and hotends using an internal PTFE liner.

This product is sold as individual 1 metre units. It is not sold by custom length and is not supplied in customised lengths. The user can cut the tube according to the needs of the installation.

Although PTFE has good thermal resistance, the temperature limit recommended by the printer or hotend manufacturer should always be respected. In hotends where the PTFE tube is close to the heat zone, excessive temperatures may degrade the material, cause clogs or release unwanted fumes.

When cutting the tube for installation, make a clean and square cut to ensure smooth filament movement and proper fitting in pneumatic couplers. An angled or deformed cut may cause friction, blockages or feeding problems.
