This 2.2 µF electrolytic capacitor is designed for conventional through-hole installation on printed circuit boards, commonly referred to as THT — Through-Hole Technology.
With a maximum rated voltage of 50 VDC, it is suitable for low-voltage electronic circuits and may be used for filtering, coupling, decoupling and power-supply stabilisation.
Its maximum operating temperature of 105 °C makes it suitable for equipment exposed to higher temperatures than those supported by conventional 85 °C capacitors.
The compact radial package measures 5 mm in diameter and 11 mm in height, with a 2 mm lead pitch, allowing installation on circuit boards where available space is limited.
This is a polarised capacitor. Check the positive and negative terminals before installation. The stripe printed on the capacitor body normally identifies the negative terminal.
Do not exceed the rated voltage of 50 VDC. Operating with a suitable safety margin below the maximum voltage is recommended to improve reliability and service life.
Reverse-polarity installation or excessive voltage may cause overheating, electrolyte leakage or component rupture. Always discharge capacitors safely before handling a circuit.
