The Dynascan 3A is a compact PMR446 walkie-talkie designed to provide quick and straightforward licence-free communication. Its small size, weight of only 100 g and built-in antenna make it suitable for discreet use in shops, restaurants, hotels, warehouses, events and other professional environments.
It offers 16 PMR446 channels, a backlit LCD display with status indicators and two PTT buttons, including a large front-mounted button for convenient, instant transmission.
The adjustable VOX function allows voice-activated transmission without pressing the PTT button. A vibration alert helps users detect incoming calls in noisy environments or when silent notification is preferred. Channel scanning, keypad locking and CTCSS/DCS codes are also provided.
Its 1200 mAh lithium-ion battery provides an advertised operating time of up to approximately 15 hours. Charging is performed through the integrated USB-C port, providing convenient compatibility with this widely used charging standard.
Under optimum conditions with a clear, unobstructed line of sight, the operating range can reach up to 10 km. The effective range will be shorter inside buildings, in urban areas and wherever terrain or other obstacles block the signal.
The stated 10 km range is a maximum value measured under optimum conditions with a clear line of sight. Walls, buildings, vegetation, terrain and radio interference can considerably reduce the effective range.
CTCSS/DCS codes do not encrypt communications. They only filter which signals are heard through the speaker; other users operating on the same channel may still receive the transmission.
The radio is intended for operation on authorised PMR446 frequencies. It must not be modified or used with external antennas or transmission power exceeding the applicable PMR446 regulations.
