The Jolly Line AMS2/4OUT-5G is an indoor amplifier designed to amplify and distribute terrestrial television signals through up to four outputs.
It operates across the 47–240 MHz VHF band and the 470–694 MHz UHF band, making it suitable for digital terrestrial television reception systems. Its gain can be adjusted between 5 and 20 dB, helping compensate for losses caused by coaxial cables, connectors, outlets and other passive distribution components.
Separate adjustment for the VHF and UHF bands allows the amplification to be adapted to the received signal conditions. The integrated filter covers the 694–862 MHz range, helping reduce potential interference from 5G mobile communication services operating above the UHF television band.
The amplifier provides four F-type outputs, allowing the signal to be distributed to several televisions or branches. It is powered directly from a 190–240 V AC mains supply.
This amplifier should be used when an adequate signal is present at the input but becomes attenuated within the distribution system. An amplifier cannot repair a poor-quality signal or replace a correctly installed, aligned and suitably sized antenna.
Excessive gain may overload the receivers and reduce picture quality. Begin with the gain set to its minimum level and increase it gradually while monitoring signal quality.
The four outputs are intended for signal distribution. When an output is not being used, fitting a 75 Ω termination load may be advisable, depending on the installation layout.
This product is intended exclusively for indoor installation. Install it in a dry, ventilated location close to a suitable mains socket.
