Delivery policy

The LUME PET-G Black Filament 1.75mm 1kg is designed for 3D printing using FDM/FFF technology and is compatible with most desktop 3D printers using 1.75 mm filament.

PET-G is one of the most widely used 3D printing materials because it combines the easy printing behaviour of PLA with increased mechanical strength, better flexibility and good impact resistance. It is an excellent choice for users who want stronger, more durable and more functional printed parts while keeping the material easy to use.

The black colour provides a clean, technical and professional finish, making it ideal for functional parts, brackets, enclosures, accessories, workshop components, electronics parts, radio communication projects, prototypes and everyday-use objects.

The filament is supplied on a 1 kg spool, wound on a cardboard spool, vacuum packed and supplied with a moisture absorber for better storage before use.

Storage and handling

Keep the filament sealed in its original vacuum packaging until use. After opening, store it in a dry, clean and well-ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight and UV exposure.

For best results, keep the filament dry. If it absorbs moisture or printing issues appear, such as bubbles, popping sounds or excessive stringing, it is recommended to dry the filament in a dedicated filament dryer or suitable drying unit for at least 4 hours at 65°C.

Usage note

Printing parameters may vary depending on the printer, hotend type, bed surface, print speed and ambient conditions. A small test print is recommended to adjust temperature, flow and cooling.
