Delivery policy

The BNC-to-BNC RG58 Coaxial Cable provides a compact, ready-to-use solution for connecting equipment fitted with 50 Ω BNC sockets.

It features a BNC male connector at each end, enabling quick and secure connection through the conventional BNC push-and-turn locking system.

The RG58 coaxial cable has a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω and features double shielding, consisting of aluminium foil and braiding. This construction helps reduce electromagnetic interference and protect the transmitted signal.

Its inner conductor is AWG 24 CCS copper-clad steel. The connectors feature nickel-plated contacts with gold-plated pins.

At only 0.25 metres (25 cm) long, it is particularly suitable for close connections between instruments, switches, receivers, signal distributors and other equipment fitted with BNC sockets. Its short length also helps minimise excess cable and signal attenuation.

Important note

This cable has a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω. Before use, confirm that the equipment and BNC connections are also rated for 50 Ω, especially in video systems, where 75 Ω BNC cables and connectors are also available.

The manufacturer states that this assembled cable is not suitable for cutting and soldering different connectors. For customised cables, use RG58 coaxial cable sold by the metre and connectors specifically designed for assembly.

Always confirm that RG58 is suitable for the intended frequency, power level and application.
