Delivery policy

The BNC-to-BNC RG58 Coaxial Cable connects equipment fitted with 50 Ω BNC sockets, providing a ready-to-use solution for radio-frequency and data-signal transmission.

It features a BNC male connector at each end, enabling quick connection using the traditional BNC push-and-turn locking system.

The RG58 coaxial cable has a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω and features double shielding, helping reduce the effect of electromagnetic interference on the transmitted signal. Its inner conductor is AWG 24 CCS, while the connector contacts have a nickel-plated finish.

With a length of 5 metres, the cable is suitable for amateur radio stations, test and measuring equipment, receivers, scanners, antennas and Thin Ethernet or 10BASE2 coaxial networks, provided that the connected equipment is compatible with the cable’s impedance and specifications.

Important note

This cable has a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω. Before use, confirm that the equipment and BNC connections are also rated for 50 Ω, especially in video systems, where 75 Ω BNC cables and connectors are also commonly used.

The manufacturer states that this assembled cable is not suitable for cutting and soldering different connectors. For customised cables, use RG58 coaxial cable sold by the metre and connectors specifically designed for assembly.

Signal loss increases with frequency and cable length. Confirm that RG58 is suitable for the intended frequency, power level and installation distance.
