The BNC-to-BNC RG58 Coaxial Cable is a ready-to-use solution for connecting equipment fitted with 50 Ω BNC sockets.

It features a BNC male connector at each end, providing a quick and secure connection through the conventional BNC push-and-turn locking system.

The RG58 coaxial cable has a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω and features double shielding, helping reduce electromagnetic interference and protect the transmitted signal. Its inner conductor is AWG 24 CCS copper-clad steel, while the connector contacts have a nickel-plated finish.

Its 1-metre length is particularly convenient for short connections between devices, avoiding excess cable around a workbench or radio station. It can be used with radio equipment, test and measuring instruments, antennas, receivers, scanners and compatible Thin Ethernet coaxial networks.

Important note

This cable has a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω. Before use, confirm that the equipment and BNC connections are also rated for 50 Ω, especially in video systems, where 75 Ω BNC cables and connectors are also commonly used.

The manufacturer states that this assembled cable is not suitable for cutting and soldering different connectors. For customised cables, use RG58 coaxial cable sold by the metre and connectors specifically designed for assembly.

Always confirm that RG58 is suitable for the intended frequency, power level and application.
