Its inner conductor is AWG 24 CCS copper-clad steel, while the connectors feature nickel-plated contacts with gold-plated pins.
With a length of 2 metres, the cable is suitable for connections between devices on a workbench, in an amateur radio station or as part of a technical installation. It can be used with radio equipment, receivers, scanners, measuring instruments, antennas and compatible Thin Ethernet coaxial networks.
This cable has a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω. Before use, confirm that the equipment and BNC connections are also rated for 50 Ω, especially in video systems, where 75 Ω BNC cables and connectors are also commonly used.
The manufacturer states that this assembled cable is not suitable for cutting and soldering different connectors. For customised cables, use RG58 coaxial cable sold by the metre and connectors specifically designed for assembly.
