Delivery policy
The XL4015E 5A / 75W module is a DC-DC Step-Down, or Buck converter, designed to reduce a DC input voltage to a lower adjustable output voltage.
The module includes an integrated digital voltmeter, allowing voltage to be monitored without permanently connecting an external multimeter.
The selection button switches the display between input voltage (IN) and output voltage (OUT). The module remembers the last selected measurement even after power is removed and reapplied.
The integrated voltmeter operates over a listed range of 4 to 48V, with a stated measurement error of approximately ±0.1V. Below 4V input, the integrated voltmeter does not operate correctly.
Maximum output current is listed as 5A, while the supplier recommends an operating current of approximately 4A.
The module includes screw terminals, allowing wires to be connected without soldering while retaining solder connection points on the PCB.
Input voltage must always be at least 1V higher than the required output voltage, as this is a step-down rather than step-up converter.

Converting a higher DC voltage to a lower voltage
This is a Step-Down converter, so it can only reduce voltage. It cannot increase a lower input voltage to a higher output voltage.
The supplier specifies that the input voltage must be at least 1V higher than the output voltage.
Although maximum output current is listed as 5A, the supplier recommends operating at approximately 4A. Adequate ventilation and heat dissipation should be provided for prolonged high-current operation.
Always adjust and verify the output voltage before connecting the load. Incorrect voltage may damage the connected equipment.
Always observe correct input and output polarity and avoid short circuits.
This item corresponds only to the XL4015E converter module with display and USB. Power supply, cables, enclosure, additional cooling, battery and other components are not included unless expressly stated otherwise.
